Technicals

Q: How to check if Backup Ninja is working on my server?
A: You can verify the process started by going to Backup Ninja → Servers and look for the indicator dot (green or red) or by checking the bartender process. See Agent Management.

Q: I just reinstalled the database server and would like to reconfigure the Backup Ninja agent again. What should I do?
A: Remove the server from Servers and add it again. See Adding a New Server.

Accounts

Q: How to delete my account?
A: Go to Backup Ninja → Account → Personal Information → Remove Your Account. Your account is pending removal as per request. If this is incorrect or if you want to change your request, please contact us.

Q: Does Backup Ninja protect my GDPR rights?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I upgrade to unlimited agents?
A: No, you can’t. We do not offer any unlimited plan.

Billings and Subscriptions

Q: How to extend my trial?
A: We do not offer any trial extension at the moment. Any newly registered account will get a free 14-day trial. However, you can always reach us at [email protected] for any billing or subscription inquiries.
